As Public Relations of ICT ministry reported; Dr. Reza Taghipour with pointing this matter in the specialized, technical and Communicative Congress of Electronic Trading and Economy, stated that: by reaching our foregone goals in this scope, we can present our operational information to small companies, so they can choose proper trading.
He added: what we need today is identifying and presenting functional methods and we hope that providing the large and main Road map is the output of this congress which we must follow in electronic trading scope.
He asserted that Economy is the old companion to Information Technology and financial circuit is considered as an essential need in this scope and said that Economy was one of the leaders in Information Technology scope, the conception of Economy of Information Technology and Information Technology of Economy is a proof for influence of these two scopes on each other.
In this congress, we have been trying to deal with technical and communicative infrastructures of electronic trading and economy more, because according to the 5th Development Plan, we are obliged to create associated communicative and technical infrastructures.
Dr. Reza Taghipour mentioned that National Data Network is our main target and we must concentrate all strategies on that. For reaching this, most of our goals for providing communicative and technical infrastructures for maximum numbers of scopes, are National Data Network issue.
The minister of Communication and Information Technology asserted: one of the main point which must be considered and operated in the 5th Development Plan, is doing 80% of payments electronically, of course in the past 3 and 4 years we see this matter in payments, but development is required.
He remarked that in the previous 4 years we have been witnessing acceptable developments in Electronic Banking, especially on transactions through ATMs and we must plan and move forward in a way that we can perform 80% of payments electronically in these 5 years.
Dr. Teaghipour said that performing 30% of foreign and 20% of domestic trading electronically is our second purpose in this 5 years plan that is hard to gain and depend on how much our trading and economy got electronic! Unfortunately, improper informing is one of the problems which finding proper solutions is in progress.
He with mentioning this matter that wireless and mobile phones issue has particular position in infrastructures developing and today we see that Mobile Banking has an especial place around the world, asserted that: nowadays the countries which have no large financial and banking infrastructures, have developed their Mobile Banking systems for the people who are not under cover of banks.
He emphasized that using this technology for developing E-Banking services in deprived and rural areas can also have good achievements.
Iran Communications Minister with saying that we must be serious on network access and bandwidth issues, stated: accessing Fiber Optics network which we hope having good developments during the Fifth Development Plan is one the main and considerable issues.
Security Infrastructures issue is one of the other matters which should be considered and will be discussed in the next congress with all details. Regarding the matter of Security in economical and financial issues is one of major points and need to be considered more than past.
Both network development and its security issues must be considered simultaneously, so people can trust them. Some people believe that electronic payment is not safe and reforming their point of view needs hard working, Dr. Taghipour continued.
He said: now we have contracted with 11 provinces for creating National Data Centers and Provincial Data Centers and these centers should cooperate with us to transfer hosts inside the country.
The Minister of Communications and Information Technology with emphasizing the need of compiling trading methods in Iran, continued: nowadays the methods and modules should be compiled via Information Technology and Communications.
