Public Relation of ICT Ministry – This project will launch to develop E-government and using IT in giving services to the people.
In the first phase of this project, the data of the Water and Waste water, Electricity, Gas and Telecommunication Companies will be centralized and accumulated in this system electronically and all the people are able to join the mentioned system, create an account and pay their bills via it.
Carrying out this project with using available substructures, support of ICT offices and city services counter offices leads to saving people money and time. Also with help of this system, all the direct and indirect publication costs, distribution and physical payment eliminate, which besides reducing remarkable national costs, has great impact on traffic reduction.
Here are some of the major goals this project has, including: Developing E-services, raise crediting precision and speed, raising people satisfaction level, possibility of managing energy and subsidy costs by the residents and also reducing inessential urban trips.
According to this report, this project has been executed by Information Technology Organization and Qom governorship which provide E-paying of municipality’s tolls, taxes and Banks installment in the 2nd phase. After completing this project, Qom will be the first paperless bills payment in the whole country.
After complete accomplishment of this big plan, saving about more than 5 thousand million dollars get possible, Based on available statistics.
