Fortunately, Iran is strong-minded in Bandwidth developing and the 1st phase of Iran National Data Network’s will be ready to use, up to the first half-year end.

Public Relation of ICT ministry – Dr. Reza Taghipour – the minister of Communications and Information Technology – in the 3rd Iran International Telecommunication congress told about developing national data network and Iran 5th development plan goals and said: today the major communication tasks has left voice and net data behind and by appearance of multimedia, the need to develop networks and network communications is apparent.
Some countries have been putting one fourth of their own economies based on Information Technology which is a proof for the great changes have been occurring on attitudes toward economies, He continued.
He asserted that Iran has had good progress on Bandwidth development, but we must say this clearly that this is not satisfying.
Dr. Taghipour mentioned that Iran band-width speed is 5.43 GB/s and said: influence index for fixed phone is 3.35% and is 75% for mobile phones.
Kind of attitudes toward bandwidth was one of the other major tasks, which was presumed equivalent to internet till several years ago because of inappropriate implementation; he declared.
The ICT minister continued and said about National Data Network that: connecting users to a secure data transferring space, high speed access to Iranian websites, providing various multimedia services in low cost, increasing data transferring space’s security by home content management are some of features, the national Data work supplies.  
He said: security increase, home making of contents and quality and quantity increase are some of advantages this plan has.
He amphasized that: launching National Data Network leads to FAVA development. The ICT minister at the end asserted reemphasized that we are serious in band-width development and the first phase will be implemented up to end of this half-year.
