Public Relation of ICT ministry - During the conference of Distant Working, Information Technology and Security, Eng. Ali Hakim Javady said that: Creating national communication network defines as one of the ICT Ministry plans to develop the existing substructures.
Supplying people with more electronic services which is secured, stable and high speed, is possible by creating National Data Network, he added.
He pointed to the important role of the ICT ministry in accomplishing national projects and asserted: Information Technology is effective on all fields such as smart national card & Distant-work Health card.
Deputy of ICT minister said that this ministry is ready to develop the necessary substructures beside the other organizations which provide electronic services for applicants. He added: One of the matters will be highly concerned in early future is Preparing appropriate contents for presenting to applicants.
He referring the indicators approved by FAVA managing workshop and said: IT Organization as a policy maker, leader and supervisor in Iran IT atmosphere, has been considering various pivots to carry out mentioned indicators.
He emphasized that managing development of providing services via secured and stable interior data centers and also obtaining the appropriate conditions for developing electronic services are considered as some of the plans in this field.
Mr. Ali H.Javadi also said: IT organization is ready to give consultancy services to other organizations in Distant Working tasks and stated that we are trying to provide necessary substructures for giving electronic services in all provinces to reduce the digital gap.
He named costs’ reduction, fuel consumption, efficiency increase and reducing large cities’ population as some of the main purposes of accomplishing Distant Working.
Minister’s deputy referred to international statistics given around the world on distant working and added: users’ satisfaction level on distant working is about 95%.
He continued: 71% air pollution reduction, 69% efficiency increase and 76% increase of life quality are such achievements have been result from distant working implementation.
According to this report, the vice-president of information technology organization, Saieed Mahdiyoun, stated that distant working will change organizations’ form and asserted: according to recent studies, there are 15 agents in 3 zones which are effective in accomplishing Distant Working, including “home offices”, “services” and “major organizations”.
Preparing necessary software and hardware, data communications equipments and users access to email are the most important factors in this zone, he continued.
Access security is considered as one of the most important matters in this zone that necessary software and hardware resources should be prepared for safe access of users.
Saieed Mahdiyoun by pointing to efforts have been made in this zone since 1989 around the world, declared: in the past, distant working was done just by telephone network, but now this technology is considered as the premier in giving services in distant working zone by globalization of internet use.
