Sweden Eyes Collaboration Opportunities in Iran

Mikael Dumberg, the Swedish Minister of Investment and Innovation, expressed pleasure for visiting Iran and stated that: “Iran and Sweden have a long history of good relationship, and we are looking forward to increasingly expend this cooperation by creating collaboration opportunities in various sectors.”

 As the ICT Ministry’s Public Relation reports, Mikael Dumberg, in his meeting with Dr. Vaezi, counted Iran among Sweden’s old and important partners in the region, saying that: “Hopefully, with the disbanding of the sanctions, we shall be witnesses to good relations in political and economic areas.”

Referring to the presence of the high-ranking Swedish delegation in Tehran as the means of expanding bilateral relations, he included that: “Sweden is one of the major players of ICT in the world, and has been able to make good progresses in the field of ICT.”

Expressing confidence for commencement of new bilateral relations in the ICT industry, he asserted that: “We have to increase our investment in ICT.”

The Swedish Minister of Investment and Innovation emphasized that: “One in every ten person in the world uses Swedish computer games and these Swedish firms have had a major role to play in the global market.”

He referred to the good relationship of Swedish firms with Iranian companies, including that: “This trip is a good beginning for continuing our mutual work and a good starting point for the future.”

Mikael Dumberg also asserted the extreme importance of social duties in establishing enduring cooperation and teaching domestic population, concluding that: “We intend to make a full report of all the topics and subjects discussed during this visit, and shall pursue them on our return.”
