According to ICT Ministry’s PR department, a meeting was held this afternoon between Dr. Vaezi, the Iranian ICT Minister, and Miklós Seszták, the Hungarian Minister of National Development, attended by representatives of public companies and organizations and ICT related private firms of both countries; the parties discussed common issues of this sector, emphasizing on expanding bilateral cooperation by utilizing private sector capacities in both countries.
In this meeting which occurred during the visit of the Prime Minister of Hungary, representatives of public companies and organizations and ICT related private firms presented their capabilities and potentials for cooperation, announcing their preparedness in these areas.
The Prime Minister of Hungary arrived in Tehran accompanied by a high profile delegation consisting of state ministers and officials, and private sector representatives, and was officially received by the Iranian Vice-President. On this official visit, eight cooperation agreements were signed between both parties in various fields and areas, including Communication and Information Technology.
