In a meeting between the members of the commission and ICT minister, the president of the Commission said that ICT Ministry is a multi-sector ministry and we have no choice other than using ICT package to realize Vision objectives and scientific advancement.
As reported by ICT Ministry's PR News Desk, making the above statement in the forum, Dr. Rahmani stated that information technology is one of the industries leading to realization of justice in the society.
He added health, transportation, housing, traffic, environment and agriculture are among industries where information and communications technologies play a considerable role.
Stating that ICT Ministry is a platform for rendering services, Dr. Rahmani added that we can take Sharif University of Technology to the rural houses and enable all people to benefit from its privileges.
Pointing to the revision of comprehensive national ICT Plan in the Islamic Parliament, he said we have stopped the reviewing processes in order to obtain the viewpoints of the new administration in order to include their intended issues.
The president of Industries and Mines Commission referred to allocation of Article 46 to 49 of the Fifth Five-year Development Plan to information and communication sector, and further added that the operation of those articles should be placed in the top agenda of the Ministry, and those articles should be introduced to the society.
Referring to the good cooperation between ICT Ministry and Industries Commission, he declared that necessary attention and care should be extended to each and all sectors including infrastructure, information technology, post and post bank.
Dr. Rahmani confirmed that "I believe a better cooperation will be formed between ICT Ministry and Islamic Parliament henceforth in line with the fulfillment of objectives and plans." He pointed that the commission is ready to offer the ICT Ministry with necessary assistance in regard to correction and amendment of rules and regulations in order to advance the objectives
