Nami visited his Russian and Sudanese counterparts

Alongside the World Summit of Information Society (WSIS), Dr. Mohammad Hasan Nami has visited his Russian and Sudanese counterparts and had talks with them separately.

 

ICT’s Public Relations and information Center reported – Dr. Mohammad Hassan Nami, Iranian ICT Minister in his visit with his Russian counterpart ,Nikolai Nikiforov, expressed Iran’s readiness for joint cooperation and experiences exchange between the two sides in different fields of ICT. “Sharing GEO Satellite”, “Information Technology Infrastructures” and “Basic Systems” are such topic of the discussions between Nami and Nikiforov.

In another private meeting which Nami has had with his Sudanese counterpart, Sudan ICT minister expressed his desire to develop cooperation between the two countries in ICT zone and security. He said that Sudan is ready to send Sudanese students for studying in Iranian universities in fields of Electronics and Information Technology, This report includes.

Earlier, Dr. Hamdoun Toure, ITU Secretary General, in his visit with Dr. Nami expressed his interest in Iran and developing the relationship between ITU and Iran’s Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. Nami in that visit talked to him about developing internet to Green Internet with considering necessary dimensions. He also has expressed Iran’s readiness for holding 2014 ITU International Summit in Tehran.
