Minister of ICT- Iran is ready to expand cooperation with Iraq

Iran is ready to offer the experiences in the field of communications and information technology to the friend and neighbor country.

PR of the Ministry of ICT- Dr. Reza Taghipour in a meeting with his Iraqi colleague said:"Iran has achieved more development in communication, information technology and e-government during the current years".
"Iran is ready to help for Islamic Iraq reconstruction and offer the experiences in different fields ", he added.
He said:" Iran and Iraq are connected through means of communications, and considering the volume of travels and tourism there has been established more cooperation between two countries in telecommunication and postal domains".
Minister of ICT pointed to Iran and Iraq as a unique Islamic nation and emphasized: Iran and Iraq has a very good cooperation in the current WRC meeting and this caused to present Iran's independent positions".
"The direction of internet should be changed to the main path, taking advantage to improve all countries, by international community's cooperation", he continued.
According to the report, Toufigh Alavi, Iraq Minister Of ICT pointed to the background of two countries cooperation and said:" Iran achievements in ICT area shows that it has been developed in all areas".
"Iraq wants to expand the relations with Iran in all areas such as communication projects and Fiber Optic creation", he emphasized.
He said:"we are ready to have international cooperation to improve internet based on Islamic basis".
"Therefore, we invite all activists in ICT area in Iran private section to invest in all fields related to communication networks, Internet and fiber optic", Iraq Minister of ICT continued.
