Head of Education and Research Work Group of ICT Festival announced: TOPs of education and research areas have been selected
Six persons of the initial candidates have been selected as the TOPs of education and research area and introduced to the central secretariat of National ICT Festival.

PR of the Ministry of ICT_ Dr. Mahdi Akhavan, head of education and research work group said:" the elects has been selected among ICT experts in three areas of education, research and publication".
"They have been selected based on the official notice from the central secretariat of National ICT Festival and in both industry and university section", he added.
Regarding the administrative process of the selection and judgments made in the Work Group, he said: "The central secretariat of workgroup was formed on ICT Research Institution and 43 candidates have been selected through the opinion polls of the leading experts of ICT areas".
"The judgment was based on the indicators such as providing prominent activities in education and research as well as practical achievements in ICT sector and appropriate publications in this area", Dr. Mahdi Akhavan pointed.
He continued: "The main goals for defining the evaluation indicators include: developing national ICT security section, IT infrastructure, satellite communications, information technology and strategic and economic studies in this area".
Head of Education and Research Work Group of ICT Festival about the composition of the jury said: "The core of the jury has formed by presence of three experienced researchers of ICT Research Institution and specialized juries have been invited to cooperate in different areas".
"According to the investigations conducted during the past two months, six of 43 initial candidates were introduced to the central secretariat in order to select the final ICT Festival winners", he emphasized.
Dr. Mahdi Akhavan said that selecting the top candidates was very difficult because each of the candidates could be introduced as an elected, and continued:" the candidates who introduced to the central secretariat should be considered only as the representative of the candidates".
