Over four billion and 500 million text messages have been sent by mobile phone subscribers from the past March 19 to April 2nd.
PR of the Ministry of ICT- Rezvani, Deputy of Monitoring and Implementing the Regulations in CRA said:" subscribers of each of the first and second operators have sent more than two billion and 200 million text messages during the 15 days".
"Extensive monitoring has been applied by CRA during the New Year holidays in various areas of communication, technology and radio", he added.
He pointed to the regulatory approaches applied in this period and said: " Experts from seven areas of monitoring centers have controlled the quality of services that offered by the operators in the field of ICT since the first day of New Year".
"Other regulatory practices imposed by CRA in the New Year included monitoring via mobile systems in cities and roads and also using on-line systems", Rezvani continued.
He said that the quality of services provided by telecom operators and service provider of IT was well and continued: "no complaints have been raised about the services provided by PAP and SAP companies due to the continuous surveillance were conducted during the New Year holidays".
Deputy of Monitoring and Implementing the Regulations in CRA about the measures taken by mobile phone operators said: "According to available reports, the performance of operators shows that developing steps has been taken to provide high quality services by the operators".
"It seems that mobile operators have been able to earn the passing grade in the New Year except some provinces in where the quality of services was not desirable due to extremely high traffic of population", he added.
