National Festival of ICT will be held in order to identify and honor top activists in this area so it will be done in a fair atmosphere.
PR of the Ministry of ICT – Dr. Samad Mo'men Bellah said that the festival was a new movement that would be held for the first time and continued:" Information technology means wealth, source as well as a careful approach that the evaluation is based on it".
"All individuals and legal firms either in the public, private or cooperative sectors can join in the festival", he added.
He stated that the first step towards structuring IT has been taken in the third plan and a distinct chapter called Chapter 11 has been created with a serious attention.
He continued:" IT capabilities will provide new abilities in this context and we hope to improve the user's satisfaction through this festival".
His answer to the question about the participants and the goals of the festival said:" CRA and all ISP, PAP companies and operators can participate and also we have a work group in ICT and IT area that all subset of ICT and Information security as well as Post, electronic media and ICT training and research sectors can attend in the festival".
Deputy Minister of ICT said: "This movement is toward e-government and we want to assess what services have been provided to the people in this field and all operators will be evaluated so all of these will be given to the relevant workgroups".
He emphasized: "This festival is an opportunity to identify and introduce the licensed companies to offer their services".
At the end, he emphasized that this conference will be held in May 2011 to honor the efforts of those who had no opportunity to show themselves.
