E-payment development has been launched in the last day of the second ICT Conference
Payment by mobile phones will be performed in the rural ICT offices through an agreement that has been signed between MCI and directors of ICT rural offices.
PR of the Ministry of ICT- This agreement has been signed between MCI and directors of ICT rural offices in Post bank of Iran, Post Company and TCI in the second ICT Conference.
Providing e-payments such as money and bill payments and the client's affairs will be done based on the agreement.
This agreement is valid for two years in order to provide services for villagers in the nearest place to their homes, develop e- payments and mobile's value added in the villages.
According to the report, Seyed Hossein Hashemi, Head of industries and Mines Commission in the parliament expressed his satisfaction for developing rural ICT by the Ministry of ICT and said:" the fifth plan is considered as a developing plan especially for ICT sector".
"We believe that we didn't achieve to the ideal point but some appropriate efforts has been done to develop communication and electronic services in the villages so the villagers will receive their needed services easy and also it will reduce unnecessary trips", he added.
According to the report, at the end of the conference the best article providers as well as the best contractors and provinces of different sectors have been appreciation.
