Minister of ICT: IT is a motive engine for advanced economies
IT and knowledge management is the most important motive engine for all advanced and also emerged economics.
PR of the Ministry of ICT – Dr. Reza Taghipour in introducing ceremony for Chairman of the board of ITC said:" Today, it has been approved that IT development is considered one of the management tools in major and advanced economies".
"In the past, IT was as a tool to assist managers for deciding and decision-making but today the role of this technology has been highlighted more than ever", he added.
He noted: "So, it's not possible to manage some organizations without using human resources management system".
Minister of ICT by referring to the programs offered at the term's beginning of the tenth cabinet and said: "the main axis was IT development at the national level and some effective measures have been also done in this area".
"IT management work group has been approved in the cabinet and its main axes were extracted for development during the fifth plan by the government's cooperation and enjoying the experts' views", he continued.
He said that ministry of ICT is responsible to manage this work group and asserted:" ITC is considered as the executive arm for this group and we hope it take steps more than the past after informing that ITC is an organization very soon".
Dr. Reza Taghipour pointed to the Supreme Leader's speech and emphasized:" The indicators defined in this area are native and aimed at developing technology to facilitate the affairs of the people".
According to the report, Hakim Javadi, Chairman of the board in ITC said that IT is an important indicator for wealth producing and societies development and continued: "ITC collection should be a strong executive arm for ICTS management work group".
"This collection should play its role for increasing IT share in GDP, creating e-government and e-readiness in order to impact of IT on the society especially the vulnerable groups", he added.
