During the last week, 13 million minuets termination has been entered to the country by legal path.
PR of the Ministry of ICT– Mahmoud Khosravi in the press meeting said: “Transferring conversation is following carefully from outside to inside by legal path with giving license to three active companies in VoIP area”.

He replied to a question about executing 20 percent decrease of bandwidth price and explained: “Currently legal process has been passed for executing this plan and the discount will be applied on TIC’s direct users bill since the next week”.
He continued that TIC in cooperating with CRA will manage this area in which the end users can enjoy about 8 percent decrease in their Internet costs.
CEO of TIC referred to applications for using more bandwidth and said: “According to the existing requirements, we will establish the required communications so about fifty STM1 will be added to the network capacity in the near future”.
He continued: “A private company will be selected by tender to implement the project to promote network and expand network capacity to 75Gb”.
Mahmoud Khosravi emphasized that on the other hand and by exploiting Core and Super Core projects in September 470Gb will be added to the network capacity”.
CEO of TIC answered to the other question about fate of IN and said: “according the policies of the ministry the management of this network must be under TCI’s authority. But because of the expert human resource and the equipments of this area which are in TIC and according to a MoU with TCI it has been appointed that TIC is responsible for the network launching and maintaining and TCI will be responsible for user management and trade affairs area”.
Mahmoud Khosravi pointed that regarding to this MoU the portion of the outcome has been defined for TIC, source company and target company.
