What: Round Table on the reconstruction of Haiti’s telecommunications sector

Where: Needham’s Point, St. Michael, Barbados: Hilton Barbados
Why: Promote projects and mobilize resources for the reconstruction of the telecommunications/ICT Sector for Haiti in the aftermath of the 12 January 2010 earthquake.
Who: ITU and the Government of Haiti with support from the Government of Barbados and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) as well as the international community. Participants include ITU Secretary-General Hamadoun Touré and Director, ITU Telecommunication Development Bureau Sami Al Basheer Al Morshid.
