Geneva, 18 May 2010 - The ITU World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-10) will meet in Hyderabad, India from 24 May until 4 June 2010. The Prime Minister of India, Mr Manmohan Singh is expected to inaugurate the conference, which focuses on development priorities in telecommunications and information and communication technologies (ICT). Ministers, heads of international organizations, development banks and regulatory agencies, and CEOs of private sector companies will attend with a global focus on adopting the Hyderabad Action Plan that will set the agenda for telecommunication and ICT development over the next four years.

Pre-registered and unannounced journalists should present their confirmation letter at the Registration Desk, together with their passport or ID card in order to receive an official WTDC-10 Media badge or undergo the full accreditation process.
