Reza Taghipour announced: The bill of Post Organization establishment brought forward to the parliament
The cabinet brought forward the bill of Post Organization establishment to the parliament to make it legislative.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                     PR of Ministry of ICT – Reza Taghipour in 25th General Meeting of the deputies and general directors of Post Company of Iran said: “The cabinet had already approved the establishing of Post Organization”.
He added: “Currently, the main subject is to make it ready for executing the principle 44 and privatizing Post”
He pointed to the different aspects defined by the managers and experts and acquired schedules codified in this area, too.
He named separating the governance as the most important point to make Post Company of Iran ready for ceding it to the private sector and said: “Approving the establishment of Public Post Organization in the cabinet and compiling its statute have been done for this purpose ”.
He believed that privatization is not the end of legality and noted that the government would be direct supervisor to control the offering good and correct services to the people after privatization.
Reza Taghipour added: “one of the other efforts should be done in this area is to make attraction for the private sector investors. Now it has been started but we hope to accelerate it in this year”.
Postal traffic, diversity of the services, new services, value-added services, and high qualification of them can guarantee totally our achievement to the predicted incomes as he emphasized and said: “However the new technologies are as the threat for Post area but we could convert them to the new opportunities by foresighting”.
The minister added: “We hope to be successful in Post sector by scheduling and diversifying the services and make it efficiency and effective as soon as possible".
