Afghanistan Telecommunication Center will be inaugurate today –Wednesday - by presence of Hamed Karzai and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and also ministers of communication of two countries.
PR of Ministry of ICT – Renovation and construction the new telecommunication training center was introduced in a meeting in ITU after Afghanistan's minister of communications requested them to help.
Iran has been responsible for this project through a tripartite agreement between ITU, Iran and Afghanistan after discussing by ITU
Therefore, the center has been built and implemented by Iranian contractor's efforts and the financial resources intended for helping Afghanistan by Iran.
Renovation and construction procedures have been done by Iran and ITU supervision and will be inaugurated by the presidents of two countries.
The other projects which have been provided by Iran and will be inaugurated during this ceremony is to prepare the equipments and launch the new telecommunications lab as well as the center's video conference.
According to this report, total building area of telecommunication training center in Afghanistan, including reconstruction of two existing buildings and construction of three new buildings is about 10 thousand square meters and financial expenses of the project is more than six million dollars.
This report indicates this center will be inaugurated today during a ceremony by presence of presidents, ministers of communication and authorities of two countries.
