General Director of PR said: The Second Festival for ICT and Media
The next August in Day of journalist, the second festival for ICT and Media will be held in participation with TCI and the affiliated companies of the ministry.

 
PR of Ministry of ICT – Seyed Mohammad Hosseinpour, Minister's Advisor and General Director of PR, said: "This festival will be held to promote quality and efficiency of the active media in ICT development as well as honoring the media group".
"Some goals of the festival are such as: making purposeful the content of the media to help for developing ICT culture, promoting quality and quantity of media productions in the field of ICT, and also increasing and improving the media's supervisory role in this area", he added.
He restated that accelerating the efficiency of the media on the activity and policy making in this area as well as making a mutual and ideal relationship between the media and news resources are the other goals in this festival.
General Director of PR continued: "News, reports, interviews, headlines, articles, translations, photo and blueprints, and also criticisms are the parts will be evaluated there".
Seyed Mohammad Hosseinpour pointed to its qualifications and circumstances and said: "All of the reporters, journalists, and writers in the field of ICT in the printed publications, news agencies, web logs and news sites can take part in this festival. The applicant has to send their printed works in the different media to the festival's permanent secretariat. The works should be published from 21st of January 2009 till 22nd of June 2010".
Minister's Advisor added that the deadline for sending the works is 22nd of June 2010 by the Express Post service to PR office of Ministry of ICT or e-mail to ictfestival@ict.gov.ir. The applicant is allowed to send maximum 3 works to each part of the festival and one of them will be penetrated to the final by the selection of the board of judge.
