According to the predicted programs, more than 15 new services will be launched by national postal network during the fifth national development program.
PR of the Ministry of ICT – Dr. Mohammad Hassan Mohebian Araghi said:" The main goals considered in the proposal national fifth development program include liberalization and competitive development to offer the non-basis postal services and privatization Post Co."
"Improving public access to the basis postal services, promoting post position in the region and world as well as productivity, efficiency and effectiveness in postal section are the other general target considered in the proposal national fifth development program", he added.
CEO of Post Co. restated:" So activating the private operators to transfer Post Co. to the bourse and increasing the postal mail boxes are the codified executive programs to access the proposal goals".
He continued that to accelerate delivering postal packages, attracting new markets, increasing the postal traffic and making culture to expand postal utilization are the other predicted executive programs.
He referred to the postal utilization benefits and said:" Time saving, fuel and energy saving, increasing national interest, preventing air pollution and creating social justice have been offered by postal utilization culture".
"According to the fifth national development program about 6 thousand and 700 mail boxes will be added to the postal network", Mohammad Hassan Mohebian Araghi said about the postal defined general goals in the fifth development program.
He pointed that creating 11 thousand mechanized urban offices and increasing more than 560 million postal packages totally are the other predicted goals in the fifth proposal national development program.
