According to the schedule we try to increase the domestic ability share in ICT market.
PR of the Ministry of ICT – Dr. Akhavan expressed this subject in the fortieth anniversary of establishing Iran IEEE Association and said: "Unfortunately, many parts of the market in this area are provided by the foreign players and we are trying to increase the domestic potentiality share in this area by implementing the practical projects".
"One of the defined strategies is to employ the high graduated students in this field and we believe it can be a good start", he added.
He explained the reasons of immigrating the qualitative forces and students to study and pointed that employing the students in the industry market at the same time is a method which has been implemented in the world today and it will be beneficial for both students and the active private sector in the country.
Deputy of Education, Research and International Affairs restated:" We believe that we can create this opportunity in the country regarding to the national existence capabilities so it requires all parts and institutions efforts".
"Therefore a plan has been designed in the ministry of ICT to protect the domestic ability and create a proper interactive relationship between the university and industry and it can be a start point for this matter", he continued.
Dr. Akhavan referred to this plan details and said:" According to this project all of the companies which have contracted with ITRC have been undertaken to pay one of the high education student expenditures for a defined amount of the contracts".
"The students whose theses are related to the subjects defined by the companies will be employed in that company and received a certain amounts monthly as their salary", he emphasized.
Head of ITRC referred that a proper fund has been considered for this project and said:" The payment amount to the students who works in these companies is comparable with the foreign universities payment".
He named the scientific associations as the interface between the university and industry and restated:" The scientific associations such as IEEE can play an extra role to implement these projects as a regulatory arm absolutely".
