PR of the Ministry of ICT_ Reza Taghipour in the ceremony on the occasion of Space Technology Day with presence of The President said: "Currently and for the Islamic Revolution's bounty, Space Technology Area has entered to the universities and scientific centers such as other advanced sciences, deeply".

The minister referred to the 10-year plan codified for the space area in the country, explained:" During the short time high steps have been taken in this plan that "Mesbah II" and "Navid" from "IUST" satellites are two of them".
He pointed that "Mesbah II" is a telecommunication satellite capable for gathering information from the earth level, navigation activities and resending the information in purposed places. It is
He added that it is an advanced satellite. Its speed, information transfer and accuracy of controlling system and impeller power have been increased rather than the earlier models.
Reza Taghipour introduced "Navid" satellite from "IUST" as the first collegiate satellite and restated: "It has been built in cooperation with 7 universities in space sciences and during the last 3 years".
According to the Minister's statements, designing projects and building the satellite is a part of national scientists' efforts.
By pointing to the Space Technology's goals in 2025, the minister of ICT said: "We hope to launch the satellites unveiled today as soon as possible".
According to this report, in this ceremony "Mesbah II", "Navid" from "IUST", and "Tolloe I" have been unveiled.
The other plans opened in this ceremony are stamp rescission for 3rd of February named as Day of Space Technology, the first professional center of data processing, virtual three-dimensional laboratory and sending a vital package to the space by "Kavoshgar III" rocket for the first time.
