The Iranian ICT Minister emphasized on expansion of current cooperations during a meeting with Asia-Pacific Telecommunity.
The Iranian ICT Minister Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi met and discussed with APT Secretary General Areewan Haoransgi according to the Public Relations correspondent of Information and Telecommunication Ministry.
Referring to ICT growth status in Iran in recent years Azari Jahromi said: "Iran has been present in Asia-Pacific Telecommunity since its foundation and has cooperated closely with this organization."
During this meeting, the Iranian Information and Telecommunication Minister also pointed to the necessity of ICT utilization in other fields such as Agriculture, Health and Energy in digital economy and added: "We attempt to benefit from each other`s markets capacity by our recent collaborations with the neighbor countries including Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and India."
Appreciating effective presence of Iran in APT, Haoransgi described the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity`s future programs and demanded our country`s support in programs development during the meeting.
