TELECOM 2017 Opens in Tehran
The 18th International Exhibition of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Innovative CIT Solutions was inaugurated today in presence of the Iranian Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Today morning, in Tehran's Permanent Fairground and Exhibition Center.

The ICT Public Relations reports, Highlighting the fact that there is going to be three specialized panels held in this year's TELECOM fair, the ICT Minister added that: 'These three panels are being held in line with ICT Ministry's guidelines and strategies.'
Eng. Azari Jahromi called this fair a perfect opportunity for further convergence in direction of growth and development of new startup businesses, adding that:' The participation of 225 local and 102 foreign firms in this exhibition creates a good opportunity for more interaction, improved business opportunities, and the announcement of operators' programs in countries, all aimed at further development of investment in the ICT sector. '
The ICT Minister emphasised that the liberation and certification of virtual operators in provision of international calls, will result in improved quality in the calls, and included:' With the activation of these operators, a portion of the market will be allocated to them. '
He also reported of the activation of two private sector Postal operators, stating that:' Through liberation of postal activities, the postal services market of our country, the worth of which is annually 800 billion Iranian Tooman, can be increased to more than double that amount. '
  Iran TELECOM 2017 is going to be held on 16 - 19 October 2017, at Tehran's Permanent Fairground and Exhibition Center.
In this exhibition, telecommunications operators, domestic and foreign companies, manufacturers and business owners in the fields of telecommunication and communication systems, equipment and services are going to demonstrate their latest achievements and capabilities to the interested visitors.
According to the latest statistics, this year, there are 225 local firms and 102 foreign companies attending the exhibition.
Simultaneously, there are also specialized panels held in this sector, suggested and held by the ICT Minister and his deputies.
The first panel, on Digital Economy, was held by Mohammad-Javad Azari Jahromi, the Iranian ICT Minister, First day afternoon.
