Igor Shuvalov, First Deputy Prime Minister and Alexander Novak, Russian Energy Minister, with a Delegation met with Minister of Communications, Dr. Aaezi, Iran information technology Minister, for development of bilateral cooperation.
According to the Center for Public Relations and Information of
the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Vaezi, after
holding a joint meeting between First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of
Energy of the Russian delegation discussed before the reporters the related
issues.
Dr. Vaezi, in the meeting pointed the development of our relations
with the countries of Eurasia and said: today we had good meeting with Mr. Shuvalov,
First Deputy Prime of Russia and the Minister of Energy and Eurasia and had a
good opportunity to exchange views for preparing for further cooperation.
Regarding the results of the negotiations he said: two very
important steps have been taken, the first is the primarily steps for nuclear
plant in Bandar Abbas by Iran's Minister of Power and Energy Minister of
Russia, which has been agreed previously and the other was important project in
the past agreed on free trade agreement of Eurasia between Iran and the five
countries and I the next week the finalization steps will be taken in this
regards via a separate delegation from Iran to Russia which will create some
important improvements in Iran and five countries of Eurasia specially the
Russian federation.
Minister of Communications and IT, Referring to good
relations between Iran and Russia said: from the last year fortunately, our
trade relations have developed in a way that we had 80 percent growth in trade
and a very successful economic commission held a over the last few months.
He also emphasized the bilateral relations in different sections such
as insurance, banks and Customs and said: 29 cooperation documents were signed
between Iran
and Russia
over the past two years and on the remaining documents, which are
infrastructure documents, we had agreement with Mr. Shuvalov and to finalize
them the negotiations have been taken.
