Concurring with the Eleventh Joint Economic Commission of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Azerbaijan, Doctor Vaezi, the Iranian head of Joint Commission met the health minister, Ogtay Shiraliyev, in order to implement the agreements of the two countries in the field of health.
according to the Center for Public Relations and Information of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in this meeting, both sides emphasized on the establishment of a hospital in the city of Baku with participation of Iranian specialists to manage and provide Medical Services and to set up manufacturing drug line, pharmaceutical needs of Azerbaijan with registration of manufactured drugs registration and supply.
Also according to previous agreements for the construction of drug production plant by Iran, its operations in the coming days was emphasized. In the end the agreement was reached for the dispatch of Iran's technical staff from Tabriz University of Medical Sciences and Ministry of Health of the Islamic Republic of Iran to carry out further investigation and implementation of agreements in the near future.
