Thirteenth Session of the Joint Commission of the Islamic Republic Iran and the Russian Federation started in Tehran today morning.

According to the public relations center of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology Information, Mahdi Mohtashami, Deputy to the Minister of Communications and Information Technology in International affairs told our reporter: last year Twelfth Summit was held at Russia and a meeting was held in Tehran after Putin's visit to Tehran. At the met on the sidelines of a trilateral meeting of Iran, Russia and Azerbaijan took place on the thirteenth meeting it was also due that as soon as possible the 13th meeting was held.

 He added: this meeting was held for three days which is for the experts today and is to be held tomorrow for Working Committee in order that we can achieve all the targets in our bilateral relations and reach the final document.

 The deputy to the Minister of Communications and Information Technology in International Affairs noted the importance of the meeting and told that about 590 of the Russian officials, including two ministers, two governors, five Deputy Ministers and many heads of many large companies and reputable Russian heads attended which demonstrated the capacity of the insights of Russia toward the Islamic Republic has done.

 Mohtashami putting emphasis on international cooperation Between Iran and Russia said:  Iran-Russia cooperation and consultation during this duration, lead to consensus in Opec yesterday and Russia reduced 550 thousand barrels of its oil production to a total of one million and 800 thousand barrels and it was not possible till Russia has a strong will to have a Very good relations with Iran, especially in regional developments, relationships Trade and increase economic trade with Iran.

He also announced the current volume of trade and business relations between Iran and Russia to 1.5 billion dollars and added, however, that Russia's investment this year for a number of projects For 2017 will be approximately $ 2.5 billion in Bandar infrastructure projects, thermal power stations and electrification of rail projects of Incheboron and Bandarabbas.  

 Mohtashami, Noting that there are other investments and if we can have agreement with Russians, it will promote the volume of our relations to the upper levels. He added that about $ 30 billion project has been defined that is we have with the Russians which are related the Russians are capabilities to invest and accept the terms of the Islamic Republic of Iran It is because they want to be part of the investments held locally and if they accept we have a lot of projects that the project among which we can note to power plants, triple and quad-core Bushehr and Qom Metro as well.  

 Deputy to the Minister of Communications and Information Technology in International Affairs, on cooperation on trade and commerce in the field ICT by Russians said: Last week, Russia's Deputy Minister of Communications came to Tehran and totally in a series of activities in the field of fiber optics, broadband, software, hardware and searches engines were made and we reached good agreement that we can use these credits for resources on our investment.

 Stating that Private sector companies can, without using this resource, can have Economic and investment cooperation in the field of ICT, he added that in addition to this we can finalize the remote satellite assessment with the Russians and this regards there have been negotiations with russians.

 Mohtashami, noting the fact that only a part of the cooperations are infrastructure and investment, said the most important activities of our commercial cooperation in the year last was that we could minimizes a very wide range of poultry, aquaculture and Dairy or zero tariffs in Russia to the minimum level.

 The official reiterated: the Russian market is very important and we are determined to have the maximum share in this market and by intensive negotiations for joining the Eurasian tariff to minimizes the customs duties more than the number of goods for entry into the member states Union to zero in addition to the Russian market to enter to the market .
