ITC Minister Leaves for Russia
The Minister of Communication and Information Technology has just left Tehran for an official visit to Russia, heading a delegation to participate in Iran-Russia’s joint trade conference, and also to meet Russia’s Communication Minister and other high-ranking officials of the Russian Federation.

 The Public Relation Center reports that on this trip, Dr. Vaezi intends to meet with the Russian Communication Minister, discuss further development of ICT sector cooperation, visit Russian companies and capabilities, in addition to following-up on the agreements made in the Joint Economic Commission.

Other objectives of this trip include facilitating commercial interactions between merchants of the two countries, especially further motivation and activation of the private sector, which will be pursued by the arrival of the ICT Minister in Astrakhan, and later on in Moscow.

Meeting and discussion with Ministers of Economy and Energy, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister, and the Eurasia Commerce Minister regarding expansion of cooperation, are some of the other topics on the agenda of the Iranian Communication Minister during this trip, which aims at the further development of Iran and Russia’s bilateral relations.
