South Korea Interested in Payam Economic Zone
Vice President of The Republic of Korea’s Investment Federation reports of South Korea’s interest for investing in Payam Special Economic Zone.

According to PR department of ICT, the Vice President of the Investment Federation of Korean Republic, Mr. Li Sung Cheon, expressed during a tour of the Payam Free Economic Zone, that: “Favorable opportunities have become available for commercial and industrial cooperation between the two countries, and the Korean Republic’s top Industry and Economy people welcome the cancellation of sanctions as a trade partner; and they are interested in collaboration and investment in Iran, especially in Alborz province and the Payam Free Economic Zone, because of its close distance to Tehran.”
The Vice President of South Korean Investment Federation went on to state the objectives of this visit, adding that: “The reason for this visit is to get familiar with the potentials and capacities of the Payam Free Economic Zone; and through our discussions we realized that there are possible areas for cooperation such as aviation, IT and industrial investment.”
Li Sung Cheon stated his expectation that: “By removal of these sanctions, South Korean Investors must seize this golden opportunity and timeframe for investing in Iran, so that we can be witnesses to further investment and economic development between the two countries.”
