Hashemi also appreciated the attention of the government of President Masoud Pezeshkian to the ICT Ministry.

“The employees of the National Post Company have been rendering their services responsibly and diligently at all stages after the Islamic Revolution, especially during the imposed Ramadan War,” he said.

Hashemi continued his remarks referring to the continuity of the country's communication services during the war.

“The sustainability of services was not limited to online communications,” he added, “An important part of in-person services continued, relying on the capacity of the National Post Company.”

He praised the post employees as “noble, hardworking, and unpretentious” men and women who, in the most difficult conditions, especially the critical conditions of war, pursued the mission of serving the people without interruption.

Modern Technology in Post

The ICT Minister also referred to the measures to transform the National Post Company, and said: The combination of expertise, commitment, experience and innovation has created a valuable asset in the Post Company.

“Use of artificial intelligence in postal sorting and exchange centers are examples of the company's leadership in using modern technologies. The development of smart technologies paves the way for improving the quality of postal services.”

Hashemi also referred to finalization of the statute of the National Post Company, and appreciated the First Vice President Aref for pursuing the matter.

"With the follow-up carried out in the government, after many years, the permanent statute of the National Post Company was sent to the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Parliament) for approval."
