Joint Committee for Developing Iran-Hungary Cooperation on Agenda
The Minister of Communication and Information Technology, in his joint meeting with Hungarian National Development Minister, reported of the establishment of a Cooperation Development Joint Committee, especially in the field of Communication and Information Technology.

 Dr. Vaezi referred to the signing of eight cooperation documents between Iran and Hungary in various fields and subjects, including ITC sector, which took place this morning in presence of Iranian Vice-President and Hungarian Prime Minister, and said: “By signing this agreement we have shown how interested we are to expand and develop bilateral relations both in public and private sectors.”

He included: “In today’s meeting, it was decided that we will organize a committee to develop bilateral cooperation and regularly hold its meetings every six months. We shall also hold annual sessions of this committee at ministerial level to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation.”

The ICT Minister further elaborated by saying: “We had a meeting today where representatives from public companies and organizations and ICT related private firms of both countries were present, and which announced their readiness for cooperation in these areas.”

Dr. Vaezi underscored that: “The visiting delegation consists of half the members of Hungarian Cabinet and representatives from 60 private sector enterprises, who are accompanying their Prime Minister on this trip and it clearly shows the high level and importance of this visit.”
