In the field of fifth generation (5G) mobile communications, two sites in Ardabil were launched, and in the fixed infrastructure development sector, the first phase of the connecting homes and businesses to fiber optic in Ardabil city was put into operation which will play an important role in improving the stability and speed of communication services.

Speaking at the ceremony to launch the projects held in the Provincial Administrative Council, Hashemi said that quality connection is the main objective of the ICT Ministry.

“There is the need to directly link statistics with the real experience of the people,” he added, “Connection without quality is not acceptable and the development of communications must serve to improve the lives of the people.”

“If people do not feel the effect of services, these statistics are meaningless. For this purpose, colleagues from the Ministry of Communications have been present in various cities of the province since yesterday to hear the concerns of the people firsthand; this is also one of the emphases of the Honorable President,” the minister said.
