and meet local officials and people during a three-day visit to the southwest
Kohgiluyeh and Boyerahmad Province.

Inauguration of communication projects
The ICT minister inaugurated several communication
projects, including connecting 7 villages to the communication network,
improving the communication quality of 5 villages, updating communication
equipment with the implementation of 55 projects by the Iranian Telecom
Company, and developing banking services and government service counters.
These projects will improve access to communication
services for the province's residents.
Meeting with Qazvin ICT activists
Hashemi announced the start of the process of
assigning a new frequency band for the development of the fifth generation (5G)
mobile phones in the province.
He emphasized the importance of an active presence

artificial intelligence.
Inauguration of Razi Tire Cord Plant
In the last leg of the provincial trip, the ICT minister
inaugurated the production line of Razi Tire Cord Factory in Takestan County.
This factory produces high-modulus filament for the automotive tire industry with
an annual production capacity of 13,800 tons.
This project, which started in 2018, reached 100
percent progress and with its inauguration, direct employment is provided for
100 people, which will increase to 200 people in the future.
The provincial
visits by government officials in Iran have been in practice as means of
opening projects and holding face-to-face meetings with the people to hear
their voices.
