Communication Minister Visits China
Dr. Mahmoud Vaezi, officially invited by the Chinese Minister for Industry and Technology, has left for China on an official visit, heading a high-level delegation with the objective of organizing and developing bilateral relations and cooperation between I.R of Iran and the P.R of China.

According to ICT’s PR department, Dr. Mahmoud Vaezi, the Iranian Communication Minister has left Tehran for an official visit to China accompanied by a high-ranking delegation, to increase the existing level of bilateral cooperation in the field of ICT.

Exchanging ICT experiences between Iran and China, also improving and elevating the level of bilateral cooperation in the field of IT, are the other objectives mentioned among the main agenda of this trip.

During this trip, the parties will discuss and negotiate the further development of research cooperation, joint manufacturing of communication equipment, technology transfer, space cooperation, and implementing joint projects.

It is mentionable that organizing and developing bilateral relations and cooperation between I.R of Iran and the P.R of China in the fields of Information Technology, Space, and communication are among the main objectives of this trip. Also, Vaezi will visit the manufacturing and technical capacities of Chinese companies in the field of ICT.

Heads of mobile communication operators and the ‘Iranian Net’ company are accompanying the ICT Minister on this visit.
